Insu Han
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, KAIST EE ยท PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR, FLEXML LAB
Insu Han is an Assistant Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering at KAIST and the Principal Investigator (PI) of the FlexML Lab. He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from KAIST EE, advised by Jinwoo Shin. In 2019, he was a recipient of the Microsoft Research Asia Fellowship. In 2024, together with Amin Karbasi and Amir Zandieh, he was selected as a recipient of the Roberts Innovation Fund Award for research on making AI more powerful and cost-effective. Before joining KAIST, he was an Applied Scientist at Adobe Firefly and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Yale Institute for Foundations of Data Science (FDS).
